i can't claim the top one however...saw it on a friends myspace site and thought it'd look cool as my desktop. The other one...well...i've been trying to better my night time picture taking skills...that one came out nice...i've got a few others that i have that i've used as desktop backgrounds i've used before...if you like to see i can post them.

I've been trying to get some good night shots of Houston, but so far, to no avail..
I may get lucky the next time we go to Houston as far as night shots are concerned - now that we have the digital camera!

Here's an awesome pic of Houston that I scanned & saved, and am now using for my desktop.
I have a cool pic of Dallas, too, that I'm also gonna use sometimes.
I just noticed it's not very big when I did a preview, but I had to crop it down in order to post it. It's a shame, too, b/c it's really an awesome pic!

from Miramar AirShow last year here in San Diego...i've been told that this is post card quality...*shrug*...you be the judge
Used to live near DC at one time...know a few spots to take some shots there...this one is of The Wall...taken Dec 2006
was at a Company Picnic at one of the local Beaches here in SD and took this shot...haven't used it as a background shot yet...but would make an excellent one IMO.
