Hi I can't find the post about music that is calming for cats. Would some please tell me. I would love to play that music. Thank you.
Just wondering if there is a cd I can buy. Some said that cats and dogs like smooth music.
I think the harp music, classical music and soft calming musics, were from the beginning from experiences with ferales whom people tried to foster. They do need soothing and so...I guess they each may have different taste depending on the cat. The one who likes choir music also liked a particular pop song that was rather upbeat. I don't know the name of it but the words were something like - " Come on the train... and ride it... I think I can, I think I can, I think I can." And then the song would go " Choo-chooo! " I don't know the whole lyric, but the song was actually fast paced.
I also forgot to mention that the internet radion station called Pandora has a beautiful selection of radio stations that can be played. I only prefer the soothing one's myself and Amelia, really relaxes when she hears them. The radion station is also free. You can create your own to play a selection of Classical, relaxing or upbeat etc. Even seperate radio stations for the type of music you prefer. It's nice to play for them.I think the harp music, classical music and soft calming musics, were from the beginning from experiences with ferales whom people tried to foster. Home cats usually dont need soothing, they need perhaps instead some merryment. Esp if they are indoors only. So this is surely why it can be quite differently with home, inside cats.
