I don't wear make-up, I cannot stand having anything on my face. But, on other people, I tend to like softer colors like light to medium pinks. It depends on their hair and skin tones, though. Some ladies can really pull off a bright red or deep burgandy.

I love my iPad. My husband was trying to install a wifi printer a couple nights ago (he's technologically disinclined), and it took me a bit to remember how to even work a Windows operating system!
