You mean you mixed them together? Hmm, interesting....

I remember my mom making smoked cod poached in milk.
It had a wonderful salty smokiness.
And nana's pea & ham soup with pancakes. Yummy treat, 'cos then we got to eat pancakes and honey for dessert.
And tapioca which I make a lot of these days. It's still stodgy and comforting.

Definitely homemade macaroni and cheese, with stewed tomatoes in it and breadcrumbs on top! I hate Kraft dinner - ate too much of it when I was in college! I do love Habitant pea soup too and Lipton's chicken noodle! In fact, when I'm sick, that's all I eat is the chicken noodle soup - it's so comforting!
