This came up on my 5 month old female kittens lip a couple of days ago, usually her lips are completely black, also she has had these bumps and scabs on her neck since I've had her but when I brought her to the vet for her shots the vet wasn't too worried about them and said they would go away but they're not?? Can anyone tell me what this might be

I am not sure, but I wonder if you are using plastic dishes for water or food? I know they can cause problems on chins and lips. Could also be this

All the dishes we use are metal so feline acne is probably the most possible

That is probably why the vet said not to worry about it. However, it might have been nice to have had it explained. I have learned to ask WHY I should not worry about it! LOL
