I have two male cats and I am feeding them the nutro natural for indoor cats which is $29.99 for a 20lb bag...the nutro maxx is $24.99 for a 20lb bag. I was wondering what the difference is between these two foods?
thanks!

Natural choice has NOT been tested for UTI health... it doesnt meet the usual UTI % ages.. that doesnt mean that for a preventative in a cat without known uti issues it wouldnt help prevent... It is just not formulated for tha tOriginally Posted by emmylou
I feed Nutro Natural Choice and it is formulated for UTI health. There's really no difference between the two in terms of quality of ingredients. The Max Cat line is just designed to have more flavor, or a greater variety of flavors, while the Natural Choice is more focused on specific needs like Indoor. Either is good.
I work for the company and yes they are similiar but only THE MAX adult and lite has been fully tested/proven and can claim to help uti health, as phos cal and total ph are also closely involved .... .088 is too high for some cats ( verified this with my vet)... They're identical in that regard. Magnesium is a primary offender in UTI health.
Natural Choice dry, maximum magnesium: .088%
Natural Choice Indoor dry, maximum magnesium: .085%
Max Cat dry, maximum magnesium: .085%

The differences between these two lines are mostly to do with marketing.
Sharky...I'm just curious, which ingredient? I would guess, "Menhaden Fish Oil" but I wasn't sure. Thanks.Originally Posted by sharky
