...you do/eat/wear that you consider uniquely a part of your culture?

For example, I love to eat a sausage roll with half a bread roll with lots of butter and sauce on it. I would think this is pretty uniquely Australian I don't know anyone who lives anywhere else who would do it!! Plus, Vegemite - I've never met a foreign person who likes that but I couldn't live without it...

Pancakes and Canadian Bacon loaded with maple syrup.
Pretty Canadian, eh?

Oh, and the coffee and fine pastries at Tim Hortons, especially the Timbits! Tim's rocks!

I have an accent, but I think its from my Alberta roots that has stuck with me, and maybe a bit of the Northern Ontario accent has stuck around too!

Movin' on up!
Black-eyed peas, with ham and cornbread. Good anytime but a Southern New Year's Day tradition.

Christmas tamales. We're not Mexican but, Bill and I both grew up near the border and picked up this tradition.

Well let's see: fried green tomatoes, sweet sweet sweet ice tea, and sweet potato pie are a few southern favorites

one thing iv'e always wondered about is how do you put jelly on bread/biscuits etc?? doesn't it fall out the sides or wobble off the biscuit all together?

i only ever use it in trifles or with custard

You cut the biscuit in half and then put the jelly and butter on the bottom half and then put the two halves back together

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking Jelly to you is gelatin desert to us?
Here, jelly is much like jam or preseves, only made with juice, not fruit.

Have always wanted to try `Jelly' though - Peanut butter and jam is yummy yummy and I want to try the US version of peanut butter and jelly...

Also, really yummy? Nutella and peanut butter - tastes like a Snicker sandwich.

It just makes the lettuce go all creamy - if you have it on lebanese bread then it is the BOMB!! MUCH better than ordinary bread.
