I've had love bites before, but never this!! She puts her face right there between my nose and lips and just sits there. Gets mad when I move

I think she is smelling the inside of your nose. Ritz does that sometimes thought only long enough to ascertain whether the smell is interesting, food related 
Maybe that area has some other scents on it too.

She puts it there and either goes to sleep or gently bites my nose for scritches.

That is adorable! Although my nose would probably start to itch.
Very cute. Agree that it is a scent thing. My two love the scent of each other's ears - so she just probably loves the smell of your nose.
