I’ve adopted a kitten, they said she is 10.5 weeks old but she looks older. They described her as british Short hair cross Turkish angora. Just wondered if you would agree? She’s a lovely friendly natured kitten.

From these pictures, I would describe your new kitten as a black and white domestic shorthair. She's a lovely girl!
I'm not seeing evidence of any specific breed ancestry in these pictures. Do you know why they described her as that particular breed cross? Were they making guesses based on the appearance of her parents?
Most cats are not any particular breed, and are not "mixes" of breeds, unlike dogs. Domestic shorthairs are great cats, though!

It's hard to say from pictures, but I don't see a reason to doubt the age they said she was. How much does she weigh? What do you know about her history?
