I was doing situps when my cat came over and started smelling my underarm. She then lays her back on it and proceeded to rub her head and rest of her body on it

What the heck was she doing? It was real funny! Lol

Your armpit is one of the smelliest parts of you (I mean that in a nice way ;) ). Your cat was simply greeting you like you were another cat, and doing a scent exchange so you smelled the same!

Cute and loving, imo. She just wanted to make the point that you belong together :heart3:

If you belong to a cat, they will exchange scents like this.  Also, when your cat rubs against, they are marking you with the scent glands behind their whiskers.  A cat's world is very much mine/not mine in terms of territory.  Possessive little brats, aren't they?
