What Do I Do???

Please help me, I found a kitten in my old broken down boat it was all alone and when I brought it in my house it went behind my couch and I am unable to get a picture of the poor thing. What do I do??? The kitten seems around 6-7 weeks old. Can I feed it fancy great wet car food???

Yes, you can feed Fancy Feast. You may want to get kitten formula at a pet store as well. Powdered is best.

Can you get the kitten out from hiding? It needs comforting as it's frightened.

The kitten came out of hiding for a minute but as soon as she/he saw me she/he went back into hiding

Can you move the couch to get the kitten? Or tempt the kitten with food?

Once the kitten is out, you'll want to limit it to one safe room with a door closed. Or even put the kitten in a crate or carrier until it settles down some.

OK thank you for the help I will try what you said and get back to you.

Also my friend's cat is pregnant and she does not know what to do. How do you care for a pregnant cat???

Look back at some of these threads, but from what I've read here, feed the pregnant cat more food than usual, make sure there are towels/blankets available for a birthing area.

The kitten looks to be about 6 weeks old. Has it eaten yet? Is it happy to be held and cuddled?

Thank you for the information. Yes the kitten has eaten and it does not mind to be held.
She is now behind the fridge how should I get her out???

You'll need to move the fridge.

As I mentioned in my Post #5, you need to limit the kitten to just your bedroom for now. She does not need the run of the house. She's too little.

Put her food and litter in your room too. :)
