i'm so sorry, you did everything in your power and you loved Onyx, thats more than some kittys get
Ah Esther, thank you for being the guardian angel to Onyx.
That is what you are... you did see something was wrong and you acted wisely and did whatever you could do. It must be so devstating to have gone to the vet and then lose him too. It gives us a false sense of hope sometimes when we think things have begun to get better. I sense very strongly that Onyx waited until you were home so he could have you to himself and to tell you how much he appreciated you. He is not in pain anymore and is over your shoulder now, just watching, that much I know for sure.
You will see him again, maybe in a form you hadn't thought of before - you'll sense his spirit and he will be there.
