What breed (mixed) is my cute baby boy ?

Hi ! 

Meet Leo !

I adopted him recently from a shelter.

He is 5 months old. I'd like to know your opinion about his breed.

I think he has a very unique look and I'm completely amazed by it. He is for sure mixed, but I'd like to know more about it !  What do you think ?

Looks like a cross breed, could have a bit of Siberian in him maybe?

I looked for Siberian (and Norwegian) cats, and I think you are right, he probably has some in him ! Leo's color seems to be ''black smoke'', a color I personally wasn't aware existed lol. Anyway I can finally see some similarities ! Thanks for your help !

Lol, you welcome. I thought he looked a lot like a Siberian, my dad wants one and showed me a couple of pics of them, so your boy looked familiar!

He's probably mix with many breed but the result is great, I love it and I wanted to know more about it !

I'm happy I discovered the Siberian though, what a beautiful breed.

With that ruff, and what a lovely ruff it is, I'd think Siberian, Norwegian Forest Cat (especially if he climbs like a monkey) or possibly Main Coon Cat.

wow, he is gorgeous and so unique! he looks like he's part maine coon to me. i think he has MC ears but his coat is just stunning--lucky you!

I thought about Maine Coon too but I wasn't sure and I discovered the Norwegian Forest Cats while looking for Siberian Cats. He probably has a bit of those breeds in him  

He jumps and runs everywhere, but he's very clumsy lol. He likes to play fetch and he's fascinated by water (which are either Maine Coon and Siberian caracteristics from what I saw on internet). He's also a bit big compare to other kittens, but I don't know how old he is exaclty since he was found outside...I'll have a better idea when he gets older I guess

@ladypirate  he is STUNNING! I saw his pic in another thread and I was staring at him for several seconds.. 

 

No idea about the breed though.. Siberian does sound to be a really close match
