What Breed is my Cat?

We found her when she was probably less than three weeks old. She was lost after a storm.
She has short fur with a tuxedo design, and yellow eyes. She's also "rusted," if that helps at all.

I am definitely no breed expert but she looks like a very cute American short hair to me.

I love tuxedo cats with white paws coz they look SO cute when they're playing and you see the paws flying about.   And beautiful yellow eyes almost like you see on the all black panther like Bombay cat.

You have done so well keeping her from rescue at 3 weeks of age:  she looks big and healthy now,  how old is she?

Thank you very much! We thought she might have American Shorthair in her, but we weren't completely sure.

She is now a happy eleven and a half years.

She really is very sweet, her nose is really cute, like a little teddy nose. 

  Looking good for her 11 years.  I am very fond of older kitties having had my previous 2 girls from 9 weeks to nearly 18 years and 22 years. You get unbelievably attached and fond of them as they settle and eventually develop funny little pensioner ways.  Like they need even more love than they did as kittens.  I hope to see more pictures and posts of your girl, and that she is well.
