Sue - which one is your Persian??
Ooooh Molly is just stunning! What's her bloodline? is she bred? also is that a "flaw" on her left shoulder (I know some color is allowed all over but wasn't sure if she has an extra spot there) her tail is to die for! As always Sam looks fabulous (and angry!!)Originally Posted by Beach Bum
Two Turkish Vans and one Domestic Shorthair (calico) grace our home with their presence.

For my part, We have one Turkish Van, and 2 DSH (Molly is silver tabby, mixed breed, Paige is torti with no kind of pedigree.)
she's probably a moggy, like Java - is her hair short, long or medium? for short, put calico DSH - long, calico DLH, medium calico DMH! is there a pic of her somewhere?Originally Posted by Miyas_mom
I have no idea what my cat is. All I know is that she is a Calico.
There is no such breed as an Exotic Longhair though. It is just a term for a Persian coming from two Exotic Shorthairs. I breed Persians and Exotics so trust me on this one.Originally Posted by ekseabolt
Both of her parents are short hair exotics but instead of short hair she got the long hair due to the recessive gene for long hair. You can google exotic long hair and there is such a thing. She is such a sweetheart though.
