Thanks! Let us hope so! I've had such a hard time taking tests in this class! My last math class was superb! I flubbed my first test with a 79, but got a 97, 98, 99, and 99 on the rest. In this class ... ugh! My test scores thusfar: 79, 79, 99, 77. I took another test yesterday and felt really good about it until I walked out the classroom door. Then I realized on 2 problems the instruction was to use synthetic division on the following polynomials! He had the problem written like a long division problem, so that's what I did. But I remember thinking, long division was 2 chapters ago. Why would he want me to do long division when this chapter covered synthetic division? I did long division anyway! Dang, talk about dumb! I know I got the right answers, but fear he'll mark me wrong for doing it the wrong way. I've made such stupid mistakes on these tests. I know what the hell I'm doing, but when I get a test back and see that I subtracted 7 from 10 and got 4, or wrote a 9 instead of a 6, I kick myself. One one test, the one I got a 77 on, I somehow managed to miss solving 2 problems and lost 14 points! I think I suffer from math dyslexia. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it next week when I go for my phsyical.Originally posted by blondiecat
