A product called Goo Gone works great for that kind of stuff!

Thanks! Let us hope so! I've had such a hard time taking tests in this class! My last math class was superb! I flubbed my first test with a 79, but got a 97, 98, 99, and 99 on the rest. In this class ... ugh! My test scores thusfar: 79, 79, 99, 77. I took another test yesterday and felt really good about it until I walked out the classroom door. Then I realized on 2 problems the instruction was to use synthetic division on the following polynomials! He had the problem written like a long division problem, so that's what I did. But I remember thinking, long division was 2 chapters ago. Why would he want me to do long division when this chapter covered synthetic division? I did long division anyway! Dang, talk about dumb! I know I got the right answers, but fear he'll mark me wrong for doing it the wrong way. I've made such stupid mistakes on these tests. I know what the hell I'm doing, but when I get a test back and see that I subtracted 7 from 10 and got 4, or wrote a 9 instead of a 6, I kick myself. One one test, the one I got a 77 on, I somehow managed to miss solving 2 problems and lost 14 points! I think I suffer from math dyslexia. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it next week when I go for my phsyical.

C'mon gang, I Need some board vibes while I play the slots!!

Actually my sister is only 20, so technically she can't go into the casinos with me. Soooooooo, I probably won't gamble at all, or just the bare minimum. We are going because we have tickets for Celine Dion, and we plan on doing some fine dining as well.

But I'll take all the good vibes I can get! Perhaps the quarter machines will be good to me!

Movin' on up!
I'm working, until 3, tomorrow. Bill is going to make the dogfood and cat litter run, in the morning. If we're not too tired, I may be able to talk him into a Saturday night out.

Sunday is grocery day, of course and we'd better get some laundry done - I have one clean pair of work pants left. Our dress code is casual but I don't think they'd approve of me showing up in pajama pants.

Tonight is my bumming night and tomorrow I'm off to see Amy. She entered us into a Karaoke Contest and I'm hoping that we'll bring home the big one. I don't want to jinx us or anything, but we're not too dang bad. We've been singing together since 1996 and we get better every year. We were hoping to enter into a National Singing gig that might get us a record deal...but it's a bit out of our league right now. But we can dream, right?
I just hope that maybe we'll do good tomorrow night and win a bit of extra money. I'm nervous about it though. We have to sing 4 songs and then they cut it down to the finals. After that, THEY pick a song for you and then you get one final song of your choice.

Wish me luck Guys!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
