I think Kabuki and Ninjetta are going to get one of those laser toys that sit on the ground and flash all around the toy. They have 2 trees and so many toys.
when i first brought him home, i wasn't really entirely sure what to name him, so i just called him kitty for a few days. then, after hanging out with him, it just popped up in my head and totally worked for his personality. plus, he immediately responded to it, so i guess he liked it too!
Our babies already have a huge tower they are constantly scaling, so I think we're just going to get them wet food, a bag of treats, and a laser. They already get all the bottle caps their little hearts desire and they have plenty of jingle balls they can handle.if get them a bed, but they all refuse to use the one we have. And besides they lay with us and steal or bags to lay on. Little monsters...
My cats love Da Bird. The problem is that Spencer is very rough on them. Not so much the ends, but when he catches it, he immediately goes to the string and before I even get to him to get it away, he's chewed the string into 2 pieces. I've bought several replacements, and then started to replace the string, but I can't find the same type of string, and my replacements don't fly as easily.
So I've decided to get a child's fishing pole (yep, the kind you use for real fishing), and attach the Da Bird attachments. It will fling like an actual fishing rod, and I can reel it in too. And I'm hoping he won't be able to chew through the nylon as easily as he does the string.
I lucked into acquiring a different sort of scratcher, and I think I'll add that to Venus's gifts too! We got the laser pointer, and she doesn't chase it, but she likes to jump at it if the light is on a wall. She's so cute!
I brought home their new cat tree tonight. They ran right over and played on it. They scratched, wrestled and snuggled on all the levels. They were like little kids on Christmas morning. So cute.
We got these plastic ornaments from Big Lots filled with 16 cat toys in each for $2.99 they each got one, and a bag of treats. Santa Paws will leave them tonight
I don't see the point of giving cats Christmas presents, but I've never been one for holidays myself. Holidays are just ways to kick me out of my comfortable routine, and I don't like being kicked out of it. It's annoying, gets me off track and flummoxed when I don't have a good picture in my head of what's going to happen. I think my cats are the same way. In this apartment, we like predictability.
So... I guess I'm giving my cats a nice predictable day for Christmas. Does that count?
