One childhood Christmas treat I really miss was our Irish neighbor's homemade plum pudding with hard sauce. I've had the bought kind, and even attempted to make it myself, but nothing tastes like hers.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
My mum fills bowls with peanuts and walnuts etc etc and I looooove them. She also makes this pudding we call 'bomb' its basically just crushed meringues and cream, which you freeze and it tastes so so so gorgeous. Always have room for it after Christmas dinner

Every year at Christmas my family has foods that we eat

On Christmas Eve it's polish sausage and crackers


and of course some sweets too..

Ovation chocolate mints
Turtles
and candy canes

Let's see, every Christmas we have herring and crackers (ack!) and raw beef sandwiches
and do a cookie exchange where we all make like 6 dozen different kinds and swap. This year we are all bringing 3 appetizers each....THAT should be fun. A big appetizer smorgasborg!

Meringues....MMMMM. My grandma makes pink ones with chocolate chips inside and she calls it "Barbie Puke"
