I'm super excited for classes to start!!! I already have 1 Bachelor's degree but I'm going back this fall to be a Registered Nurse! I'm soooo excited but I'll only be taking prerequisite classes. My schedule is:

Mondays, Wednesdays
Anatomy & Physiology from 9am-10:15

Anatomy & Physiology lab from 10:30-12:30

Math for Health Careers from 2-2:50

I also have a CPR class that is taught on 2 Saturdays in October. Woo hooo! Bring it on!

I'm starting my first year at community college this year. My first year at college since I dropped out of highschool (long story.. but I dropped out to work full time and help pay bills.. sigh.. I did manage to get my GED though).

I'm so excited but right now I'm just taking basic courses. Pretty boring sounding huh?

Mondays & Wednesdays
11:00-12:20: College Reading

1:30- 3:00: College Success & Preparation (to help me get used to going to school again)

Tuesday & Thursdays:

11:00- 1:00: College Math (Basic Level)

2:00- 3:30 College Writing

Pretty boring schedule, but this is only the first term. Second term I'll still be doing Reading, Writing, and Math.. but I will be taking a foreign language instead of the College Prep class. I haven't decided which one I'll be taking though. Hehe! This is 13 credit hours though.. so it's considered full time!

I am getting a Bachelor of Science in Interdisplinary Studies (basic degree) and a minor in Art. I finish in May!! I will then work on my certification next summer and begin teaching(elementary) next fall!

My fall schedule is:

Art & Religion Developments (Tues & Thurs.) 7-8:15pm

American Lit After 1865 (Tues & Thurs.) 8:30-9:45pm

African Art & Literature (online)

Psychology: Learning & Behavior (online)

Since I work 40+ hours a week, I have to take 2 online classes because I don't have the energy to go 16 hour days without a break!

Since my school started this year with having the Spring schedules out with the fall schedules, I have the opportunity to finish my Spring semester with knowing what I'll take, that is definitely a relief.

Spring 2006:

Art & Religion Origins (Tues. & Thurs.) 7-8:15pm

Psychology: Adjustment (Tues. & Thurs.) 8:30-9:45pm

Psychology: Child Psychology (online)

Internship (Fall & Spring)

.... which will actually start next month (September) and I will finish that in April of 2006. I have to work an additional 5-10 hours a week towards my minor at the Children's museum and at a local elementary school. Ok, my back totally tensed up after thinking about all that.
So, I guess I'll be on here sometime in the near future
