This is one of my obsessions, too. Since I'm Irish (with a wee bit of Scots), I love clan gatherings and Irish/Scottish festivals. I've been obsessing with Celtic music recently, but the more modern versions...Shooglenifty, Glengarry Bhoys, Wolfstone, Brother, Gaelic Storm...

Oh yes I agree men in kilts or quilts can be candy for the eyes. But until you see a Hawaiin male dancer, rubbed with oil/lotion and sweaty in traditional malo. Bare footed dancing do you know you have seen a bit of heaven on earth!

I dated a guy who was a dancer with the Columbus Ballet. He was definitely not gay and neither was his friend who worked in the same company who was from Hawaii and was just as hot! So you never know!

Then again I've not had the best luck either. I dated a guy for 2 1/2 yrs. and he ended up telling me he was gay a year or so later after we split up. I knew something was not quite right about us. I dated another guy. I ended up discovering my ex gay boyfriend in bed having sex with my now ex boyfriend. I'm only telling this story because my ex gay boyfriend used to like to wear kilts. That picture so reminds me of him! He had a bod just like that too!

Actually, I wouldn't call them an obsession, but I love marbles. My mom's mom had a home-made chinese checkers set, and we used marbles for the pieces. Ever since then I've had "a thing" for them, and I have what I consider quite a nice collection. I guess I just love colors in glass...kinda goes with the paperweights or just shelf-y showy things I have - and the Kaleidoscopes!

I had a similar experience, but it didn't take 2 1/2 years. I dated a guy while I was in grad school, who according to other friends was really interested in me. We went out for a few months until one night he told me "Well, I wasn't sure, but now I am. I know I'm gay." I felt like asking "And so, I'm the one who did this to you?"

It was kinda sad, because he was such a good person with a true heart, and I was starting to fall in love with that. Now, I can look back and get a laugh out of it-Hey, look, I made someone gay (though I don't have a problem with it, my best male friend in high school came out to me shortly after we graduated, and he's still a very important person in my life).
