Yep - works for you. For now? This works for me.
I hope you don't think I was trying to talk you into making your own. I think "easing" into raw feeding by feeding commercial products first is a great way to go. I fed Feline's Pride for about a year before I started making my own. It took me that long to get comfortable with the idea of making my own!

No, not at all! I'm leaning towards moving toward frankenprey. My cats DEFINITELY do not like NV. But I think, really, they don't like ground, bone-in meals, as they love the fresh meat. :nod: But I'm still in the process of getting comfortable, and they're still getting used to it. :) And yes, the commercial raws make that process SO much easier!
