Me, Kinah and Joshua are now settling into our brand new apartment.
Kinah and Joshua seem to be enjoying themselves. The two windows at the front of the apartment face a tree so they can spend hours just looking at birds and branches moving. It's like really good cat TV.
Kinah already gave me one good scare. Yesterday, when the technician was here to install the phone and internet, he left the patio door open. When I noticed, I closed it but I didn't worry about it too much... the cats always go hiding when strangers are around (especially Kinah). After the guy left, I couldn't find Kinah anywhere. I looked in every cupboard, under the bed... everywhere a cat could hide. No Kinah. I went outside and looked for her. No Kinah. I came back inside and walked around shaking a noisy cat toy to attract her. Still no Kinah. After about half an hour of looking for her, she magically reappeared inside the apartment. I have no idea where she was hiding.
Bad Kinah. She'll drive me crazy!
For me, the move has gone well too. VERY exhausting. I've been unpacking and shopping since I got here. Tomorow and Monday I'll be gone to a family reunion and Tuesday classes start. I don't think I'm ready yet. Still lots to do!!
Pics of the apartment coming as soon as I can make it look half-decent!
