My kitty Ruby who is now 14 weeks old has suddenly just today started weeing elsewhere other than her litter tray. Its nothing major either just a few drops here and there. This is the first time she has done it as well.

I have not heard of this before. Since she is a young kitten, since this is not normal for her, and since and they can go down very fast from illnesses, I would take her to the vet.
Ì agree; you should get her checked for UTI as soon as possible. Hopefully it's nothing. My 13 week old cat suddenly took to weeing in inappropriate places; I got him checked out and there was nothing wrong. It was just bad behaviour!
