That makes me feel a bit better. I really love that cat. I was visiting when they got him from the shelter, and ever since then we've had a special bond, even though I only visit once a year. He's always all over me when I come. My sister checks out the internet sites, too. She's really frantic - she's still checking the shelters, and the "animal morgue".Originally Posted by opilot
If he lost his collar/tag, the person who found might not
realize he's chipped. (look at me and little Lexi). Also,
they may not know someone is looking for him, thinking
him an unowned/cared for kitty...
I'm sending all my love n' prayers. And remember -
like I told Mike - lots of caring folks out there - so
his fate may not be the worst you think. He could
even now be loved and cared for well! Think positive...
Try the internet lost and found sites too.. if you
haven't already done so...
I was afraid to read this, I thought it would say he'd been "found".Originally Posted by jcat
Update: Trey is back! They have no idea where he was for so long, but obviously somewhere where he got enough to eat, and had a warm place to sleep. He sauntered in the day before yesterday, climbed up on the couch, and took a snooze.
Isn't that a cat for you!Originally Posted by jcat
