Moonbeam had cancer for three years and the medicines stopped working. He was very sick and lost alot of weight. So, we decided euthanasia for Moonbeam. Tomorrow is the funeral. Mandy our other cat missses him also.
This decision is always the hardest to make, but once made it illustrates to our cats how much we truly do love them. We love them enough to say goodbye and to end their pain.
Moonbeam will be the brightest star in the heavens tonight on his way to the Bridge. Keep a close watch on Mandy, grief does strange things for people as well as cats sometimes.
I am so sorry about Moonbeam. You did the right thing as humanely possible. He is now playing at the Rainbow Bridge and you will have a wonderful reunion when it is time.
What you did was the most humane thing to do even though it was a very hard and sad thing to do. You gave him the dignity he deserved for a beloved family member.
He's at the RB now happy, health and free of his suffering. He's an angel now watching over you and his family and wouldn't want you to dwell on his suffering and death, just the pleasant memories you all shared. You all will be reunited someday.
What a painful decision that must have been for you. I'm so very sorry. Moonbeam is now in perfect health over the Bridge joyously awaiting the time when you will again be together!
Thank you so much. We said goodbye to Moonbeam today, and watched the burial. It rained and then stopped. We and our cat, Mandy, miss him. Cathy R., Moonbeam's mom
I'm so very sorry for your loss, you did what you had to do to end his suffering, and he knows that. Moonbeam is free of pain and playing with his new friends while he watches over you, knowing that one day you will be reunited.
