Congratulations Bug and Bigbadbass. A well merited win.
Did someone say "speech"?
Amazingly relaxed he is...very comfortable with his "Club Med for cats" setup ..safe to say he knows he's got it made indoors here.
At the risk of repeating myself... not even a year since nasty semi-feral Bug "chose us". After some early, very testy weeks of integration ...an incredible, totally unpredictable turnaround.
My first feral adoption...guided and advised here on TCS by multiple, very knowledgeable members (you know who you are) whose help was invaluable!
Again, we're honored, thank you ALL.

Clearly demonstrating he owns the place...the leader of the gang, keeps the other cats "in line", fully manipulates his human at will. Allowing pick up..accepting pets, hugs, attention ON HIS TERMS. Quite the character, at the same time displays perfect behavior. We are truly blessed with his presence....so glad he "appeared" and chose us. My first pic of the wandering bum in Oct '16. He's come a long way
also wanted to praise the absolutely beautiful members kitties ...young, old, large, small....all such awesome animals.

Congrats to you and bug! I knew when I seen that pic it was a winner. I don't know how he got on his back and stretched out like that on that windowsill without falling off of it. Well done!

You may have read, I was actually ready to open the door and release him after his neuter and his lengthy, self imposed exile, not fully understanding his hormones were whacked and in a transition period. I was under the impression he was depressed, not happy indoors, not a good candidate for domestication, convinced that being out again would be best for his well being. Staff members

and @ondine suggested he needed more time. Correct they were.....finally, putting up a temporary screen door to his room caused him to react in a most positive way...he became inquisitive and interested. Slowly introducing him to the other animals and rooms...the rest is history.
As this was my first ever feral rescue/adoption.....I'm sure glad I listened to the pros and didn't open the door!
The nasty, unapproachable, violent Bug is no more....what an amazing transformation. Perfectly behaved these days.
