Well I took Azalea to the vet for the vomiting and the vet said she has a tender stomach right now. So he told me to put her on a baby food diet for a couple days, gave me some vomiting pills (she also got a shot of it in her butt...wasn't a happy camper.) and we are switching off her Science Diet food since its not a very good food for cats (you'd think my breeder wouldn't have suggested it). I have a couple questions though.
Last night she vomited again around 1:00 am. I did give her some crunchy treats. Could this have upset her stomach and cause the vomiting?
She is on Clavamox for her UTI...has anyone had any experience with this medication? Did it cause your cat to vomit?
She did suck down her baby food this morning which I believe is a good sign. The thing that gets me is after she throws up its like she is perfectly fine. She gets all lovey again and purrs and jumps around. I guess I'm just a very concerned mommy. She is my first cat and I just want to make sure everything is fine. I guess giving her crunchy treats wasn't the way to go last night but she has lost her appetite, which is a side effect of the meds and when she eats something it makes me feel better.
Any information you guys could give me would be great. Thanks so much.
