Our 5ish year old indoor boy, Rory, vomited on Friday night - very liquid, food colored, large amount. It happened again on Saturday. Now he is vomiting clear liquid. This has happened several times. He’s not eating and is hiding under our couch. Of course, it’s the weekend. Any thoughts on what may be going on? I will be calling our vet tomorrow morning. I’m just looking for possible causes. Thanks, Judith

Could be bad food, or something he got into in your home that made him sick. It could be a hundred other things as well. If you can get some baby food meat (Gerber Stage 2 or Beechnut), he might be willing to eat some of that until you can get a hold of the vet. If not that, then perhaps some boiled chicken? Also, try to get him to drink some as well so he doesn't become totally dehydrated. Maybe water with a splash of 'juice' from canned tuna in water?

Meanwhile, check his food and look around your home to see if you can find anything that he might have gotten into.
