Sounds like a good habit to get into! So do you foster or work at a shelter? What do you do when you have more than one cat sick?
My neighbor had all her carpet removed and had tile put in. That is sounding better every time I think of it. With 3 cats puking and the other one with hairballs, tile sounds like a good idea. We have tile in our walkway, our kitchen, and our master bathroom, but 9 times out of 10, the puke's on the carpet....

I always use gloves when handling the litter pans. Just got in the habit of it when I had a sick group of cats, and never got out of the habit.
