So I'm either being super paranoid or there's something wrong with my cat Little Girl again. We just lost her companion of 7 years a few weeks ago to an unknown liver ailment. She also just finished up treatment for histoplasmosis last week.
After all of this, she is still throwing up clear fluids on occasion. She use to do this a couple of times a day. Then it went away. Now it's back and she's done it once a week. It's been in the mornings, between 5 and 7am. She always gives me warning by giving out her signature meow and then she throws up. I have been giving her Cerenia when nauseated for the pas seven months. She is a 9 lb cat and is eating between 1/2 to 3/4 a cup of dry kibble per day with a few tsps of wet mixed in. She drinks from a free flowing sink all day. She has normal poops and normal pee. She's playful, bright, alert, and just in general her normal self. Her color is great. I live in an area where the allergy count is high and she does suffer from weepy eyes from time to time. Could her vomiting be caused by a high pollen count? Because I've had such a long fight with her illness and because we just lost my other ca to an unknown illness, I'm really concerned that her vomiting has returned.
