I'm new to this forum but I was checking it out and wanted some opinions on one of my cats, Bacardi. She is almost 4 and has been vomiting off and on since December. I had her into the vet then and they figured it was because we had switched foods on her too quickly so we went back to the old food and she was doing ok. Then a couple weeks ago she vomited again but stopped after a day. Each time she has vomited, the food is pretty digested looking and she usually gets it all out in one vomit. Then for the rest of the day she will still gag and then spit up. She did this again yesterday morning, at 5 am no less, and I had to grab her from under the blankets and put her on the floor to do it. It was the same type of vomit and not undigested food. She has still been spitting up a little today and I don't think she has eaten anything yet. She normally eats Iams dry food and then I give her and her "sister", Cuervo, some Iams wet food that comes in the pouches usually every day. I'm trying to decide if I should take her to the vet again or not. She is acting pretty much normal but I feel so bad for her.
