Soooo it turns out Socks LOVES my vitamin E oil. I put some on my hands and she wouldn't leave them alone. I'm pretty sure she kept licking my hands all night. Is vitamin E oil okay for cats? How much can she have if so? She's drying my hands out with all her licking...

The oil contains Glycine (soybean) Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) coco nucifera (coconut) and nothing else.

Hi. The type of Vitamin E being used in your hand lotion is not really meant for internal use (ingesting). But, I am not sure the amount Socks is licking from your hands is enough to be an issue - other than the fact that she does it nightly. However, I would probably try to find another lotion to use, or try wearing a pair of those thin cotton moisturizing gloves at night to stop her from licking your hands.

It also could be that Socks likes the coconut oil rather than the Vitamin E.

I'll have to find a way to keep it from her. Thanks! She's a really weird kitty when it comes to what she likes.
