Last night I was worried SICK! He still wouldn't eat when we tried last night, and for the life of him he didn't want to swallow his appetite stimulant pill.
That was a fight. You could tell he was having trouble moving around, stumbling...
So when he wouldn't eat again last night, I mixed the wet food from the vet in with some "Whiska's Cat Milk" and syringe fed him. I didn't give him a lot, but enough to get something into his stomach and give him some nourishment.
After I syringe fed him, he got into the litter box. He peed just fine, but then he pooped... It was basically pure blood.
This morning I came down worried about what I would find. He's still very lethargic, but moving around better. I shook the treat can and tried to give him treats. He ran right over, but wouldn't eat any. After breakfast we're going to give him his pills and see if we can get him to eat some wet food. If not I'll syringe feed him again. His ears are not warm today though, so it looks like he is past the fever. I can't help but have the feeling though that we're dealing with something much worse than a simple virus.
