I just got off the phone with the vet's office and they say that everything went just fine!
She's in recovery right now and chatting up a storm
They figure we should be able to bring her home tonight.

Thank you for sending us vibes

That's wonderful news Tracy!
I know how relieved you must feel now.

Sorry I missed sending vibes, but I'm glad she's being chatty now in recovery!

It's my turn in a few weeks with PJ & Punky.
With them being so 'weird' I do worry moreso on their neuters than with others!

She's at home now and doing very well
She's a going concern though, I can't get her to slow down, and when I try to stop her she growls at me
Reilly & Sydney are taking the biggest adjustment, they seem to have forgotten her in the half day that she was gone (I'm sure it's just her "vet smell") but they are hissing and growling at her. I'm sure things will settle down in a couple of days.

How the vets expect us to keep them quiet, I haven't a clue. Don't they know cats are very active beings? You can try a little vanilla on both to speed the smell thing up.

Thanks Jana! I'll give that a try. The vet tech told me I should keep her closed in a seperate room for 48 hours, but it defeated the purpose...she was hurting herself trying to get out, and they also told me to keep her separated from the other 2 for 5 days!

i figure if it really hurts them, they'll stop the activity. mine were always quieter for a few days - but then it was back to normal!
