Lots of that he thrives. He's made it this far under your care, so he has a fighting chance.
Not too tired yet, but I know I'll get there.Originally Posted by Jaffacake

You must be so tired.
Vibes for little baby

You think so? I was worried that I wouldn't be warm enough for him. He's just so tiny. I love holding him. Cannot get too attached though! If the little guy makes it it's going to really tough adopting him out already. Nobody's going to be good enough for him. I'm sure all you others out there that feed bottle babys and neonatals have felt the same way. The rescue lady already warned me - it's happened to her numerous times.Originally Posted by jcat
P.K. really is a little monkey! Holding him should give him enough warmth, so I wouldn't hesitate to do it. He needs the "body contact".
Continued good vibes for him!
It won't take much convincing for me to get me to hold him.Originally Posted by jcat
I was helping to bottle-feed a baby with a deformed lip, and all of us volunteers were told to cradle Timmy as much as possible, stick him inside our shirts, etc.. It was kind of a miracle that he pulled through, and I think all the body contact played a role.
