You may know from other threads that Milk Maid lost her dog Fozzie last week, as he failed to come round after a standard neuter op. This was on top of her cat Sylvester being run over ten days before.
When she took Fozzie in to be done, her other dog Bo, went too. But although he seemed OK after the op, he pulled at his stitches and eventually got them out. The vet put a staple in but he got that out too, and the area is inflamed and really bad looking. She has now taken him to my vet, who is going to put him under tomorrow and redo all the stitches. It turned out he was not given any pain killer or antibiotic, so must have been very uncomfortable. The original vet is the one who could not save my Napoleon three years ago, and who also almost killed my mare Maisie when she had colic, and I have never gone there since. Now they have lost another customer, but at the expense of one dead dog and one in pain for several days.
I know she and Bo are in good hands now, but keep her in your thoughts - she is really going through hell.
