She had the 2nd half of her surgery this afternoon and is in ICU. Everything looks great. She should be there for two more days so then we will know more.

I just saw this thread now. I am so glad to read she is in recovery now. Reading the beginning of this thread literally made me nauseous.

I just saw this thread. I hope your friend recovers quickly. Barnes-Jewish is a great hospital, so they should take good care of her there.

Thank You! Mom's friend came home Saturday. She is highly medicated but doing well. Though she should only sit for 20mins at a time she is stretching it to well over that. She is getting lectures from everyone but she is so doped up she barely knows her name.
