My husband went to the doctor yesterday with a sinus infection. Last night around 8 he went to lay down his head was hurting. He woke up at 10:30 with a severe head ache and blind in his left eye. I took him to the hospital. as soon as the doctor looked in his eye he started making phone calls. He told us to use these eye drops every hour until morning. This morning he phoned me and told me to take Jim to the city to see a specialist NOW . We went right to the specialists office. he did some tests prescribed 6 different medications, and told us to come back later this afternoon. When we went back my husband had some vision. He said when he saw Jim this morning he was sure the blindness was permanent. It turns out there is a problem with the fit of Jim's eye into the eye socket. It is too tight it can't drain and pressure is building up. He is having laser surgery tomorrow. They are going to try and blow a hole into his eye so it can drain. He needs it done in both eyes or he will go blind. Right now he is in so much pain. they can't give him any more medication. it is awful to see him like that.
