Vet visits

64 use to be good at Vet, they all loved her, now they have to sedate her to even take blood.....what am I gonna do ? Is there a chilli pill or something they can give me before routine visits ? I mean I take her to get her nails done , now what ?

There are different sedatives that vets can prescribe, but you would need to talk to them in advance to see what would be best.

Does she have trouble with everyone at the vets or is it just one person?

Also, it may sound odd, but how nervous are you feeling now when you take her? I have one cat who's terribke when my husband takes him because my husband is nerbous and the cat picks up on it.

Either way, its worth talking to your vet about differemt calming options. Something as simple as a calming spray in her carrier may help.
