Dear Siami,
as I am quite new to the site, I had not seen this thread until now, but I just had to come in and thank you for being so incredibly kind and patient and caring. It is stories like yours that help me keep at least a little of faith in humanity!
Sammie is gorgeous and although I am hardly a religious person (or even a spiritual one), as far as fate or destiny goes: This must be it. You were meant to find eachother, it's all too obvious.
After reading this thread I gladly jump on the bandwagon and tell you that I am very happy you did not find her owner. I'm sure she will find her place in your family and thrive there.
