One of my cats is an unspayed 8 year old. Immediately following her last heat she began having some vaginal discharge. It does not have a foul odor nor does it contain any blood, she has been damp after her estrus(heat )many times before, but this may be different.

She is my only cat with a complete reproduction system. Have any of you dealt with this before? Other than the signs of uterine infection(which don't seem to be present) what should I watch for?

It sounds like this could be pyometria. Can you take her to a vet? Is there a reason that you haven't spayed?

You need to get her to the vet immediately.  It does sound like pyometra and that can be fatal if left untreated.
