Update:
Went to the new vet yesterday…lots of tests and procedures including Urinalysis, Pneumocystogram, Bacteriology & Sensitivity, Pcv (packed cell volume), Bun (blood urine nitrogen), and Torugesic injection. She is also on Torbutrol for pain. Her bladder is very thickened with bloody urine present.
Thanks for all of the diet suggestions. The vet had similar suggestions and gave me several samples of special diet foods. Over the past 2 years I have tried probably 30 different kinds of canned food. She will only eat Fancy Feast Grilled Tuna.
Yes, I know not the best but she turns her nose up at everything else. She also nibbles at a combination of dry Royal Canin Light and Royal Canin SO. She seems to again be eating and drinking regularly. Hopefully there will be some improvement.
