Using Urine to Mark?

I've started to notice my Dolly urinating on the sofa and living room chair. Saw her in person one evening after she drank lots of water.

Is she marking her resting areas with urine? What can I do?

If she has been good about using the litter box in the past, then the most likely reason for peeing outside of it is medical. She could have a urinary tract issue that is causing pain during urination that she is associating with the litter box. A vet visit is in order.
