Urgent! i am desperate for advice, please help me!

Hi, guys. These are some of the photos of the kitten that I got when I visited my friend two days ago. The vet has put him on amoxicillin to treat an upper respiratory infection. I haven't seen him since but my friend said that he is doing much better, and even eating on his own. In the last picture, you can see the opening all the way in the back as well as the inflammation. He does not have a fever at the moment and the nasal discharge has disappeared. He is due back at the vet tomorrow. I will post more pictures along with an update.

@Margd, yea...I was so sad for him, I thought he wasn't going to make it. I have a pretty good feeling about this, I think he's going to be ok!
