Just got off the phone with my SIL, Jenny, who called with an update on the kittens they adopted from us last week. Dori (12 weeks) had a mild URI, but they got her to vet right away and she bounced back quickly. She's still sleeping with my niece every night, loves to be held and bug her big brother
Jack (renamed from Dusty), who's 5-months-old. He's out from under the bed and has turned into a real cuddle bug, according to Jenny. He loves to lay in bed with her at night and watch TV. (They're going to watch Desperate Housewives together tonight)
She said both Dori and Jack have completely won over my brother (who didn't really want to adopt) and adding the kittens to their family was absolutely the right decision.
I'm just so darn happy for them and the kittens. What a happy ending!
