Update on SKittles

She is restless and was digging everything up but the cement
she is in the nest then out in the closet she is all over'even tried to dig behind the TV and HB She is restless... Now it looks like she is going to sleep

I know am suppose to be there when this happens in case something goes wrong but this chick isnt making it easy

Ok it is almost 1 a.m. here. think I will join skittles and go to sleep. LOL maybe tomorrow a.m. I will be suprised that she had her babies............. LOL

it is 11pm and she went to sleep.

I am not sure what she has planned... I have 50 min left of tape going to leave it running and see from there change it wake up in 1 hr again....night...

IF she is a First time Mom, and does not know what is happening to her she won't know NOT to give birth!

I don't think that's true, in the wild they have to wait until it's safe to give birth first time mom or not.

I read that mum cats who are nervous about their environment (e.g. noise, people, threat to her and the babies), first time or not, often wait until night time..when its dark and quiet to have their babies.

When Eth had her babies I thought I was going to have to do everything for her. I was so proud of her with the way she handled it and just knew what to do. Skittles will too!

Jenny, I think you are only going to be needed for crowd control!

Also, in reference to the breech...if you do have to help it takes a little bit more pulling than you realize. I helped deliver Eth's first kitten (which I was really excited about) but it was a little more tougher pulling than I realized!

Thankyou batgirl, they are 8 weeks old now, so massive compared to the pic.
They were 24 hours old in that one.
Havent seen a skittles update yet
