I'm praying that she doesn't need a c-section - it sounds and looks as if she's fine...

If it makes you feel better, I'm pretty sure Daphne had early contractions Thursday night, but her water didn't break until 2:30pm on Friday! And after that it was only four kittens but she wasn't done until 8pm!! She's a very tiny cat though, so I'm thinking four kittens was a lot for her petite frame/first litter.

I do have a 3:30 Appt but I want to talk to her main vet that was the other vet. Mine was in a surgery and had patient back ups...That one said I need to consider a c-section..
At 3:30 if I do not see where she is in danger I will not do it...

I think he just said that to get you out of his hair. I think they should be able to do an ultrasound just to make sure no one's blocking the exit, but otherwise I'd let her do her thing. Sounds like she's doing it great!

The video was dark and hard to tell. Is she panting? It looked like maybe her mouth is open and slightly panting? Jada started heavy heavy panting when hard labor and contractions started. Also, the contractions, I belive, will be very obvious to you. There's really no mistaking them. Jada's stomach would tighten for a couple of seconds, release, tighten, release, tighten, release. She didn't get any breaks between. You can see the uterus muscle squeezing, releasing, squeezing, releasing. When that started she got very nervous and was in my face. After about 20 minutes she laid in her nest and the heavy panting started and I could see her pushing. I don't think you need to worry unless you see heavy panting and pushing for a long time with no results.
