I have a newborn kitten who doesn’t have her mother. She is barely about to be a week old & her umbilical cord looked normal, it started to dry out but when I fed her just recently I noticed that it looks like it was pulled on somehow because the part where it comes out of her stomach is a thin string of red, like bloody & then the dry out normal part at the end.I also notice a spot of blood on the bedding. I have 6 other newborns who’s cord has already come off. Is this normal ?

Are all the kittens kept together A Aliciavela ? When kittens don't have a mother they tend to nurse on each other. Could one of the other kittens ben trying to suckle on this kitten's cord?

Could you post a picture?
