A few weeks ago I adopted a little guy. He was listed at the rescue center as being a siamese cross. As to what he's crossed with, I'm not sure. Pretty sure it's just tabby. This is Bucky, The Whisker Soldier. He's 15 weeks old so I'm sure his fur will darken in spots as he gets older. And I know the photos don't really show it but his eyes are blue. He likes to sleep under my desk because of the heat from my computer
Then a few days ago, I walked into a pet store and saw this gorgeous girl up for adoption. I instantly fell in love with her. I know she's mostly siamese. Close to a seal point. But she doesn't have the slender body and long face of a traditional siamese. This is Symmetra. She's roughly 1 year old. Her coat currently isn't in the greatest condition because of the food she was being fed in the store.
I'd just like to be sure about both because I want to care for them the best that I can. For example with grooming. I brush my other two cats regularly but I've been reading that siamese coats shouldn't be brushed as it can actually damage them. I don't want to damage my babies coats Help!
