Hi,
I have two cats, a ten month old (Stardust) and a three-month old (Echo). They are mother and daughter. Stardust was spayed today.
1) How long should Stardust stay isolated in my place before I can open the door and let her roam the house again?
2) Will her being spayed affect how she interacts with her daughter? I remember a friend of mine had a similar situation and the little one would moan, growl, and exhibit--I'll call it discomfort--around the mother. Will this go away in time? Is this something I should expect?
Also, as a follow-up, Stardust still nurses Echo from time to time. Will this process have any influence over that?
Thanks.
